Yoga Therapy
Yoga therapy is the therapeutic application of yogic practices to cure and/or manage illness. It offers a wide variety of tools to promote health, healing, and transformation. Some of the practices used are asana (posture), pranayama (breathing techniques), mudras (gestures), mantras (sound), meditation, and self-inquiry.
The sessions are conducted one-on-one to meet the clients’ needs and can continually adapt as they change. It is an inherently holistic approach, working on the body, mind, and spirit. It can improve a number of problems and is effective as a complementary treatment with other health care both conventional and alternative. It has been shown to help with both physical and psychological ailments, from arthritis, diabetes, asthma, and recovery after surgery to anxiety and depression.

Desk Yoga
Have you heard sitting is the new smoking? Sitting for long hours every day can have adverse health effects, it can cause a bad posture, cause pain and tight neck and back muscles, it’s even linked to weight gain, depression, and more. We’re not trying to scare you out of sitting, sometimes it’s unavoidable and necessary.
Movement is vital to our health and wellbeing, both mental and physical. We know it can be difficult to find the time to fit in a full practice, so we have designed a practice that you can do right at your desk, to bring some movement into your day, helping ease stiff muscles, refocus the mind, and take a healthy mindful break! Practices are around 15 min or less, choose from breathing exercises, meditation, flowing movement, strengthening, or a combination of all.
